Campus 2010 Maze Green redevelopment starts Wednesday 5 September 2007
WORKS
On Wednesday, a fence will be erected around Maze Green, and work will begin on the redevelopment of this site, which is part of the Campus 2010 program.
The Green is being transformed into a natural amphitheatre around the Old Darlington School, with a neighbouring grove of 120 lemon scented eucalypts replacing the poplars, under which will be seats and loungers for everyone to enjoy.
IMACT
While the work is in progress, there will be changes to pedestrian routes around Maze Green.

You will not be able to cross Maze Green directly from the Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Peter Nichol Russell buildings. Staff and students in these buildings who want to get to the Biochemistry or Wentworth buildings will need to walk along Maze Crescent, then turn onto the Shepherd Street boardwalk and follow the path towards City Road.
The footbridge between Wentworth and the Biochemistry building is unaffected by the Campus 2010 construction program, and all the facilities and shops in the Wentworth building will be open during the redevelopment.
