Interruption of power 28 September night

Works
As part of the network repairs program, Energy Australia will be carrying out essential repairs to substation 54 from 8pm Sunday 28 September until 4am Monday 29 September. During this time, there will be a total electrical shutdown.

Impact
The shutdown will affect the following buildings within the University:

• A03 Ross Street Building
• A04 R D Watt Building
• A05 JRA McMillan
• A05A JRA McMillan Glasshouses
• A07 Agricultural Glasshouses (Agricultural Annex)
• A08 Heydon Laurence Building
• The Union Refectory (Holme Building)
• A40 Native Animal House
• A34 A/B Substation, Old Substation
• Wallace Theatre

To avoid possible damage during this essential electrical shutdown, any electronic equipment, such as computers, fax machines, printers etc should be switched off and disconnected from the electrical supply.
