Description of the service:
|
The University of Sydney security services' patrol unit protects people and property and prevents and detects crime through regular visible patrols of the campus and by using the Central Monitoring Systems to monitor all access controls and emergency alarms. All patrol officers are fully licensed security officers. The patrol unit provides a first response to any security / criminal incidents or emergency situation. The patrol frequently liaises with local emergency units including the Police Local Area Command. Patrol officers also issue traffic and parking infringements notices on campus. |
