Planning and Review

Advice on planning and landscape

 
Service:
Advice on access / disability access, external campus signage, external lighting, naming and renaming of buildings and places, public art, town planning issues assessment, accommodation standards and more.
Description of the service:

For access / disability access: Planning and Review is CIS representative on the Disability Consultative Committee. Prepare draft barrier removal program and collaborate with project manager to implement.
For signage: Provide advice and facilitate solutions for university signage requirements; over site implementation of projects funded through grounds program.
For naming: Provide advice and facilitate the naming or renaming of campuses, buildings, spaces or other University entity. Advices go to the Nomenclature Committee that prepare recommendation for Senate approval.
For public art: Collaborate with key university stakeholders in examining appropriate selection, placement and commissioning of public art on campus.
For town planning: Provide advice and feedback to the University on issues related to council town planning impacting on University activities.
For accomodation standard: Provide advice and facilitate solutions / interpretation on accommodation standard requirements.

Availability - Campus:
All University campuses (for Cumberland limited at the moment but the situation may change in the near future). Excluding farms and investment holdings.
