CIS energy and water management

Utilities procurement, management, billing & conservation

Description of the service:
All utilities usage information is captured using the UIS. The system using a network of metres, captures the usage of all utilities across the University. This information is analysed to identify abnormal usage levels and locate utility wastage. The data of where utilities are used aids the development of strategic methods to minimise the University's utility consumption. Where external groups use the University's infrastructure to acquire their utilities for consumption, a bill for their usage is issued.
