Organising skips for cleanouts

Description of the service:

When a department or group does a large scale clean up of their area which will have large items amongst it, a separate waste container (skip) should be arranged to place all the rubbish in. The drop off and collection of this can be arranged through Site Services.

How to use:
|
Place a request via the Service Desk or the e-Service Desk with requirements listed. Contact will be made by CIS to confirm details.

FAQ:
|
Q: Why can't I put the rubbish in the normal bins?
A: Some of the larger items in a clean up cannot go into the general waste truck without causing damage to it. If there are these items in the general waste bin it will not be picked up and emptied by the contractor, and alternative arrangements will need to be made and these will incur extra charges to the University |
