Threshold signs

Threshold signs have the double function of identify the presence of the University of Sydney at the threshold, and identity the name of the entry point or gate.
CIS should install the first seven signs, placed at main entry points of the Camperdown and Darlington Campuses, by mid 2008. Same signs will be used for other campuses as necessary.

Gate sign

10mm thick aluminium sign panel fixed to palisade fence. Laser cut letters.This flexible design can also be mounted to masonry walls.

Entry sign

16mm thick steel sign panels, 2 pac painted. Letters later cut out of the panels.

Freestanding elements at different scales have being designed for smaller pedestrian entry points.

Part of this project we are creating specific places for banners, removing the clatter on our fences. Different University organizations will be able to use this space for temporary advertisement of upcoming events.
