Grounds module in ARCHIBUS/FM

The proposed module will be primarily web based and would be accessible through the e~Service Desk web portal.  However, the base functions will be created as 'Activities' in the ARCHIBUS/FM navigator, with access to the tables & views that would allow power users (FMIS Group) to carry out linking and synchronisation of updated information.  The proposed activities in ARCHIBUS/FM reflect the stages of the proposed Module as follows:

Stage One: Manage the University Tree Register.

Stage Two: Manage equipment and other assets used by Grounds staff, e.g. trucks, lawn mowers, equipment etc.

Stage Three: Manage external assets, fixtures & services for example:

Manage sculptures, war memorial plaques, fountains, bench seats, bollards, ash trays, bicycle racks, sign posts, signage etc.

Manage surface & underground services.

Manage lawns, flower beds, irrigation network etc...
