Environmental Strategies
The Environmental Strategies team delivers the SUstainable Campus program.
We aim to implement the environmental management aspects of the University of Sydney Environmental Policy and to incorporate environmental sustainability principles into:
- the daily operations of the University;
- transport and mobility on Campuses;
- how we choose, use and dispose of materials and products;
- water and energy conservation and management;
- the construction of new and refurbishment of existing buildings;
- estate management including our rivers, land, flora and fauna;
- planning and decision-making within the University community.
We are the point of contact for any member of the University community with an interest in on-campus environmental initiatives and practice. Our program partners include:
- University staff – academic, general, administration and facilities management;
- off-campus providers of environmental services and education;
- students who want to volunteer or apply their coursework on campus; and
- student groups and societies.
