Our mission
Campus Infrastructure Services (CIS) within the University of Sydney, strives to create a dynamic, efficient, supportive and visually enriching physical environment, which encourages outstanding teaching and research, as well as a strong sense of community.
This mission complements the University’s primary goals. Our work is to plan, build, maintain and operate the University’s infrastructure accordingly.
Our function
CIS, located on the University’s Camperdown/Darlington campus, is responsible for the planning, development and operation of the University’s campuses and facilities.
All operations within CIS work to create and enhance an effective teaching, learning and research environment for the University’s staff and students.
CIS’s charter is:
- to ensure that University management is provided with accurate and timely advice on all campus planning and infrastructure-related matters
- to undertake the University’s long and short range campus planning, capital resource planning, project delivery, assets & services management and operations in an effective and efficient manner in accordance with the University’s strategic goals and objectives.
